Cauayan Boutique Private Island

We came for a surprise proposal, and this turned out to be a lovely setting for such a meaningful moment. Even though our English isn't very strong, the staff were patient and kind, helping us arrange everything ahead of time so we could prepare without worry. It rained heavily on the proposal day, but our waiter looked after us attentively through the special dinner, and we could enjoy the moment. The team were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We also loved the diving and island hopping tours. There weren't many Japanese or other Asian guests while we were there, which gave the resort an international feel. Thank you for memories we'll never forget. We'd love to return.

We had so many great meals here, with a huge range of choices that kept us from getting tired of the food. That's especially important on a private island where there's nowhere else to eat. The service, people, cocktails, rooms, and food were all spectacular, and the staff were kind and attentive. Red and Nick at the bar and the whole outrigger boat crew deserve a special mention for making the trip so much fun. This was the highlight of our three-week honeymoon around Southeast Asia. The resort was five star but never stuffy. We felt comfortable bringing our kids, and there were lots of other families there. Our children loved the snorkeling right at the property, and the food was outstanding with a good variety. Both the half-day and full-day tours were luxurious and professional, with stunning views. We're an American family and had lived in Asia for almost six years before this first visit to the Philippines. The resort went far beyond what we expected, and the staff were excellent and accommodating.

After two weeks of honeymoon travel, Cauayan Boutique Resort was a calm, beautiful place to slow down together. The views were immaculate, and waking up surrounded by that scenery felt surreal. It was the perfect end to our honeymoon, and we hope to return.
