The Suites at Calle Nueva

This was a good deal for an affordable stay close to markets and malls. I booked a Standard Double on Agoda for ₱2,029.14 for two nights, plus ₱400+ tax, and breakfast was included. It wasn't luxurious, but had the comfort and location we wanted, so I'd recommend it if you're on a budget and need a decent place. The room looked a little old, with chipped wall paint and some stains on the sofa, but it had what we needed: toiletries, a hot shower, cold air conditioning, a TV with Netflix, and two bottles of water. Breakfast was basic but filling. On day one there were cornflakes, Koko Krunch, milk, juice, rice, eggs, arroz caldo, sausage, luncheon meat, and sardines. Day two was similar, but had hotdog, chicken nuggets, and pork and beans instead.

The location is a little tucked away, but still very accessible to the mall and other things. What made the place stand out to me was how quickly and easily the staff accommodated us. They even allowed an early check-in without asking for extra money. There may be hotels with fancier furnishings, but the experience matters more to me. The price felt worth it.

The rooms and facilities are average, but the affordable price still exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was a highlight and impressive for such a budget-friendly place. Above all, the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were attentive, always smiling, and super friendly. We can't remember the front office staff member's name, but she was petite with slightly long hair. Kudos for doing such a great job. It's clear you love what you do and put passion into it.

The suites made our five-day stay a good one. Breakfast was a complimentary buffet with coffee, and the location right in the city was convenient. Staff were accommodating, and they also offer laundry service. Thank you!
