This was our second Christmas at Sinagtala. Our room this time was bigger and much better for us as a couple with our two dogs. When one of my dogs got hurt on Christmas Day, staff helped us find a vet to go to. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and helpful. The location is a bit far away, which was especially difficult during the emergency with my dog, but overall we had a good stay.

We keep coming back for a quiet escape from Manila, even if it’s only for one night. The lush jungle is full of birds, the views are unmatched, and the deep calm leaves us feeling rejuvenated each time, already looking forward to another visit.

The balcony was my favourite part of the room, looking out over the green Bataan rainforest with stars visible at night. The rooms were a good size and came with complimentary toiletries, coffee, and tea. Duyan House is a scenic, calm resort with a thoughtfully landscaped open area that works well for families wanting a laid-back vacation. Staff were attentive to our requests and greeted everyone with a smile.

We only stayed one night, and I wished we had more time to see the whole resort. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were welcoming, helpful with questions, and clear in their communication. Customer service was very good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. I’d recommend staying here and would come again.
