Small rooms, but they’re comfortable and very clean.

I’ll happily stay at the hotel again. It’s clean, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was fine. The only real issue was the TV: none of the cable channels worked apart from the promotional one. Check-in was a little unusual, though it didn’t bother me. I just gave my name and said I’d prepaid through Expedia, and they handed me the key without asking for a signature or passport. The bar isn’t my favorite in town, but it’s among the better ones. It opens earlier in the day than most nearby bars. The owner was very friendly and seems to manage both the hotel and bar attentively. The staff all seemed to like having him as their boss. The women there aren’t the prettiest in town, but they’re friendly enough.

The rooms are clean and well priced, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in on a Sunday morning to watch UFC and boxing. Highly recommend.

For me, this is better value than the places right on the beach. It’s much quieter, with a more peaceful feel that’s great for relaxing, and it’s cheaper and more welcoming while still being close to the beach. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and make you feel welcome. It’s a short trike ride, around 50-100 pesos, to the main beach, and only about five minutes by trike.
