For the price, the room itself was decent, but the staff’s behavior and hygiene really took away from the stay. One staff member was rude. After talking to us, she walked off, and we heard her telling the guard in Ilocano that we had “too many requests.” She was wearing the same clothes as the day before, which gave a poor impression of hygiene. The person making breakfast, who I assume was her husband, was chewing betel nuts and wearing slippers while handling food. That felt unsanitary and unprofessional. The accommodation was satisfactory, but the staff attitude and food handling made the experience disappointing. They need better training and basic hygiene standards.

The window view is lovely, and there’s a store and a few small restaurants downstairs, so food is easy to find. The toilet is tiny, though, and they won’t collect the garbage or clean the room unless you ask.

I stayed in the condos beside ARC Residences and ate at Yoshi Hotpot Ti Umili food stall there. After paying, I asked for an official receipt because I needed it for work reimbursement, but they gave me no receipt at all. This was at Yoshi Hotpot Ti Umili food stall, ARC Residences, 8 Bareng Drive, on June 1, 2025. As I understand BIR regulations, businesses are supposed to issue receipts for every transaction, whatever the amount. Not receiving one raises concerns about the café’s tax compliance. I’m formally reporting this failure to issue an official receipt and respectfully ask your office to investigate and take whatever action is needed to ensure compliance with BIR regulations. The dining area has a lovely view of Baguio, and the staff are kind and accommodating. The location is a mixed bag: it’s quiet, surrounded by trees, and has a view, but getting to and from the city and nearby attractions is a challenge because they’re far away. I felt bad giving three stars, but the rooms need work. I wasn’t expecting much, just better cleanliness. There was hair on the floor, the toilet smelled and wasn’t clean, and the basic mattress may not suit everyone.
