Bloomfield Villa

We spent our June 12-16 Baguio vacation here. The best thing about the hotel is where it is, right beside SM Baguio and an easy walk to Session Road and downtown, so getting around on foot was convenient. The service made a real difference. Front desk staff, cleaners, and the rest of the team were warm, attentive, and accommodating, which helped make up for the limited amenities and a shower heater that was tricky to adjust. Breakfast was a nice touch on the weekend, with self-serve taho and a range of regular breakfast options. Patch Café has creative drink mixes and a cozy bar with a great vibe. I'll review the cafe separately when I return to Baguio for another vacation. The stay was pleasant, and I'll consider booking here again.

The location is a strong point, close to Session Road, SM, and other key city sites. But the services and facilities show their limits, and there are better hotels, condos, and transient places around the city center. We stayed for a couple of nights, and the price didn't feel worth it. We first booked the relatively affordable Deluxe Rooms - Twins, which seemed okay in the pictures. In person, it was in a basement, pitch-dark unless the lights were on, and windowless, like a dungeon. We had no choice but to switch to Suite A on the 2nd floor, where there were windows and at least more ventilation. Breakfast was below average to average. For the room rates, the complimentary breakfast should have been more memorable.

The location is handy for getting around, and the room was clean. The staff were accommodating too. I enjoyed checking in here, would recommend it, and plan to stay again. 😊

The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and Bloomfield's location is a big plus, less than a five-minute walk to SM Baguio. The room was nice, with WiFi and a small TV, though I couldn't get the shower's hot water to work.
