The owner and her family were so kind and welcoming, always ready to help. They made me feel at home. It's also a quiet, peaceful spot away from Moalboal's main tourist area, and only a three-minute walk from the bus stop. The hostel was clean and well kept, including the tidy, hygienic bathrooms. For budget travelers, the kitchen, free water dispenser with hot water, and fridge for storing food were all handy. Bike rentals were available at reasonable prices, the same as outside. My dorm bed had curtains for privacy, though they weren't blackout curtains, so people could still see in a bit. I did miss having a personal light by the bed. I had a really comfortable stay at Laguno Hostel in Moalboal and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet place with warm hosts.

The rooms and toilets were very clean, and I had no problems during my roughly two-day stay at Laguno. The front lady was extremely helpful and helped me book activities at reasonable prices. There's a Jolibee right across the street for a quick snack, plus lots of nearby restaurants. The bus stop is right next to the hostel, which makes the location ideal. The cheapest way from Cebu city is 220PHP. There are two toilets upstairs, one with an attached shower, and the same arrangement on the ground floor. Guest laundry costs 150 to 200PHP. A great option for solo Travellers and bagpackers.

I only stayed one night in a private room, but I've returned over the past few days to rent a bike. The workers have been incredibly friendly and helpful. When my partner broke his sandal, they pointed us to a man by the roadside who repairs them. They also arrange tour pickups and are just very welcoming. It's outside Moalboal's main tourist area, which is nice, and only a quick bike ride away. We need to take the bus tomorrow, and since the guest house is by the Jollybees, it's convenient to return the bike there without spending extra on a ride.

We chose this place mainly because it was a short walk from the bus stop, and our two-night stay was pleasant. The owners were extremely kind, and we also found renting a scooter from them really convenient. Our ensuite private room was spacious and minimal, with everything we needed. One detail caught us off guard: the room was in a separate guesthouse building about a five-minute walk from the main one. I wish they'd told us this when I confirmed on WhatsApp, and shared the guesthouse location, so we didn't have to walk over after a long travel day.

Clean, well priced, and staffed by friendly, attentive people who could give useful advice. The beds were sturdy, there was plenty of room to walk around, and towels were provided. No mozzies either! One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Compared with the other hostels I've tried at Pangsama, this one is on another level. 💯
