Beyond Island

They upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. It was quiet and comfortable, a little away from the main street, and I got a good rest even though I was traveling alone in a remote area. There’s a large refrigerator in the room too. 💯👍

For under 2,000 pesos, this was really nice and felt like good value. The place seems to have been renovated fairly recently, and the room was hard to beat at that price. It’s a short walk from the center, so you get a handy location while still staying somewhere quiet. The room itself is pretty small, so think about how much luggage to bring. They don’t seem to clean every day at this price, unless your stay is longer than 3 days. Still a good option if you’re on a budget.

The location is the strongest point here, and the price is affordable. The room was quite basic, as were the shared areas, and the quality and comfort didn’t quite live up to what I expected. I’d look at other places too, even if they cost a little more, since they might offer better rooms and value.

The outdoor area is lovely, and the location is great: it’s quiet and set away from the road. I also liked having a porch for each room where we could sit and relax in the evening, plus drinking water was available. The room, especially the bathroom, needs renovation. The sink is broken and sends water in different directions. The shower is in poor shape, old and a bit dirty, so I didn’t like touching it. There was a bad smell in the bathroom, with ants there and sometimes in the room too.
