Badi's Place

Badi's Place is still giving us the best service. We were last there in June 2025, and nothing had changed. It's been our go-to in Moalboal since 2023, and we visit for a week a couple of times a year. The staff are warm, and we've actually become friends with them. The place is clean, the internet is good enough for us to work while on vacation, and we love how close it is to the beach. When we decided to spend Christmas week there in December 2023, the owner kindly invited us to their Christmas gathering. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back.

The rooms were okay, with basic bedding and amenities. For the price, it's great value. The location felt quite far from the heart of Moalboal's tourist street.

Kids were making loads of noise in and around the pool at 6 o'clock in the morning, like it was the middle of the day, while their parents shouted. It was crazy. If you want to sleep and have a comfortable night, this isn't the place for you. I'd book somewhere else. The staff don't understand any English, so you can't even ask for a coffee.

The worst place ever! We booked and then waited ages at reception, but nobody answered the phone or showed any sign of life. If negative ten stars were possible, I'd give that. Can't recommend it. Very unprofessional, with no system.
