Rufana Suites

We spent three nights here and were very happy with the hospitality and service. The staff were so welcoming and kind that they went out of their way to make breakfast early on two separate mornings, since we had to leave early for activities. They also gave us great recommendations and arranged good tour guides for activities in Moalboal and Oslob.

The room was quiet, so we slept well. The buffet breakfast was nice, and they also offered room delivery. We made great use of the free shuttle, and the staff were amazing and very helpful. The problem was the canyoneering trip. We trusted the hotel to set us up with a good experience, but it was terrible: disorganized and overpriced, with old equipment. They charged us at every opportunity and treated us like children. They also wouldn't let us bring our phones or cash.

Breakfast was good, the staff were helpful, and they even did our laundry for free and returned everything folded. For $40 a room for two, I was happy with what we got. I only missed having a hair dryer. From Brazil 🇧🇷

Serg and Mecca were so welcoming and helpful throughout my four nights. I could ask them for warm water, tea, or a drink in the evening, and they were always glad to help. Serg even remembered that I preferred scrambled eggs and made them for me each morning after I mentioned it once. The room was spotless, with lovely sheets and pillows, and I liked having a comfy sofa to relax on. The smart TV with Netflix and YouTube was a nice extra. Breakfast had fresh fruit, waffles, coffee, and Filipino dishes. I had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.
