The location was quiet, parking was free, and the gated property felt secure. Our room was spacious and neat, and the bathroom was comfortable. I’d recommend it for couples or a small family. Hotel service was limited after check-in. The staff were nice, but the lobby was usually empty, with no receptionist, just the guard. When I called room service, the guard answered and often didn’t know what to do, saying he’d have to check. There wasn’t any food or drink available to order. Since the property is a bit far from convenience stores and other places, having coffee or simple snacks would be useful. The walls also seemed thin. We could hear movement, conversation, and footsteps in the hallway from inside the room. The place has a lot of potential if it’s managed well.

The cozy atmosphere and the view from the window were lovely. It’s a good place to relax away from busy, crowded areas, and the staff were accommodating. It’s not too far from downtown, and if you don’t have a car, you can wait for a taxi or book a Grab. We had a great stay. 💯

We booked two nights, but couldn’t make much use of the amenities. We were told the bonfire wasn’t allowed, there was no shower gel for the bathtub, and the restaurant only served plated breakfast. We ordered through GrabFood, but there was no dining table or utensils in the room. Toothbrushes, soap, and bathrobes were limited, and the room slippers were for sale. 🥴 It was a disappointing stay, so we checked out on the second day and moved to another hotel.

I was very disappointed. After running the Cordillera Mountain Ultra, I was exhausted and just wanted to rest. I’d booked through Agoda, which already had my information, but the staff still insisted on seeing a physical ID. I asked if I could get it from my bag once I was in my room, but they made me open my bag in the middle of the lobby. Then they charged a 2500 incidental fee that hadn’t been mentioned online, payable only in cash, with no ATM nearby. They didn’t have change either. I was too tired to argue, so I put up with it. They only provide one room key, which is needed to power the room. Every time you leave, even just to smoke or get some fresh air, the power goes off. I imagine that would be worse in summer when the AC keeps shutting off. I also couldn’t leave anything charging since I had to take the key. It seems like an easy fix to provide a second key, especially since I paid for a room for two. It’s a small thing, but it added to a growing list of small hassles. The hotel does have underground parking, and it’s adequate for what you might need. I’m sure the staff are following the rules, so I blame management more than them. The place is friendly, but inconsiderate. It’s strange how people break rules in public, like crossing the street or littering, while businesses can be so rigid that dealing with them feels like talking to an iPad. If you expect customer service, you’d be better off staying somewhere else. Sorry this turned into a rant. I was emotionally and physically drained and only wanted a little consideration, but didn’t get it.

The place is nice and very Instagrammable, and I was surprised to find it had air conditioning, though we didn’t use it. Our stay was good apart from loud party music around 5 a.m. Our room, 102, was near reception, so we expected to hear phones ringing and people talking, but the music was too much.
