We booked through Agoda and requested a second floor room because the lift only goes to the 2nd floor and we needed wheelchair access. The staff member we spoke with, whose name I’ll withhold, assured us the request was approved and the room was assigned to our reservation. I asked for written confirmation and even sent a PDF for them to sign, but got no reply. On check-in day, I texted at 4pm to say we were having a late lunch and would come after. When we arrived around 6pm, the same staff member told us the guest in our room had extended their stay. The hotel had let them keep the room we had already paid for in full. They offered us two rooms on the ground floor, but that wasn’t what we had booked. We insisted on a full refund, which Agoda agreed to, and I also reported the incident to Agoda customer service. We found another hotel and checked in as walk-in guests. A bad experience and very unprofessional. I’d give this place no stars if Google allowed it.

We ordered from the goat meat menu, the Kilawen and pinapaitan, and it was so good that we got extra. I also loved the pinakbet. The place works well for groups, and it’s quiet and comfortable for talking. The staff are friendly. It’s about a 10 minute walk at an easy pace from Pacdal Circle.

Our balcony room had a perfect view, but the sound of speeding traffic from the street kept spoiling the quiet. There were also some small cleanliness issues, since the floor in our room felt a bit sticky.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s about 5 to 7 minutes from the town center, and the rooms were clean, though a little dated with a rustic charm. Our second floor room faced the street and had a great view of the pinetrees, but passing traffic made it noisy from 6am to 11pm. Parking fits only 12 cars. The bathroom was small, and the hot water could be hard to control, with weak water pressure.

I had the worst night I’ve ever spent at a place. The noise was unbearable, and the low water pressure and other problems people mentioned were all very true. The room design seems to show little consideration for noise.
