This is a dorm-style place and could work if you're not picky and have only 400 pesos for an overnight stay. It's good for solo travelers, but there are shared bathrooms and some showers don't work properly. There's no safe for bags, so I'd avoid leaving important belongings there.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Still, for 500php the place should be better. The dorm is huge, with more than 14 beds, but there isn't even a locker for valuables, and the door is always open, so someone could come in and take guests' things. There's also no plug to charge a phone or camera.

This backpackers' inn is poorly managed. The rooms and bathrooms are unclean, the lighting is bad, and there are stains on the bedsheets. The female dormitory isn't worth P400 a night. There are better options nearby.

We enjoyed our short stay here. It's within walking distance of burnham park and SM Baguio. The first floor has rooms with double-decker beds, a shared restroom, and a small lavatory, while the private rooms for clients are on the higher floors.

This was my second time checking in at Upstairs Bed and Bath. Its main draws are the affordable prices and a location right in central Baguio City. The first time, a fellow traveler and I were winding down a 7-day trip around the Cordilleras. We'd been in Sagada and wanted to relax in Baguio before returning to Manila. We hadn't booked anywhere ahead, so with our limited budget we took the first place we found that worked. Upstairs Bed and Bath had dorm accommodation for Php 400, which I think was Php 300 back in 2016. The bunk beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, though sharing a big room with 20 strangers made me uneasy. There's a common restroom for dorm guests, which I don't mind. What really annoyed me was the low shower pressure, it made rinsing off difficult. The showers were still annoying as hell on my second visit, when my friends and I stayed in one of the family rooms, and we still shared a restroom. Even with that problem, the customer service was decent, and that's the main reason I didn't hesitate to bring friends back after our weekend hike at Mt. Ulap. I'm not totally unhappy with the experience, so it's three stars. Fix the showers and I might give it four.
