We didn’t feel comfortable, so we found somewhere else to stay. When we arrived, it seemed nobody knew we were coming or recognized the guest name, and they had to clean something in our room before we could check in. The resort, rooms, and surroundings looked very different from what they’d sent or posted, and the house wasn’t clean. The advertised five-minute walk to the beach wasn’t true. I’d already paid a nonrefundable reservation, and I understand that part.

The clubhouse has all-day breakfast, cold drinks, and billiards to pass the time, and they also offer a kayak. There’s a pool fed by spring water, so it’s very cold. The rooms are roomy and air-conditioned, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and Sabang Beach is within walking distance.

The bamboo cottage has AC, and there’s a swimming pool, though the bathroom is shared. It’s about a ten-minute walk to Sabang Beach. Aside from that, it’s a nice place, and I’d recommend it to friends.
