The food was a highlight for us, especially the Crispy Pork Kare Kare and Fish Sinigang. The main courses are good for two, and there was coffee or tea available any time. We booked a room with breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were friendly and ready to help. We had a great stay and would come back, and recommend the hotel to others.

You can walk down the road to the beach, and I liked having water dispensers on every floor. The rooms were large and it was a good place to stay. The food was okay. There was only one TV channel available, and the hot water pressure was weak, though it still did the job.

The slow Wi-Fi and the lack of a phone directory in the room were frustrating, since we couldn't call room service or the front desk. Pillowcases smelled, and there weren't enough supplies like coffee, soap, sugar, and cream. Most of the staff were very friendly, including the driver, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and one person at the front desk. The manager wasn't friendly. The location was a plus.

Residencia Du Basco was peaceful, and I really liked the service and the room. It was well kept and clean, with a scent I liked. The staff were easy to approach and accommodating, especially Ms. Rona, who was friendly and knew how to chat with customers. I highly recommend Residencia du Basco when staying in Batanes. It was a 100/10 experience for me.
