The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and respectful. For the price, I think it’s a really good deal, and I’d recommend this hotel.

The restaurant was easy to get to, and we had a great time there. There was live music, and the food wasn’t overpriced.

I liked the staff here. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and prompt, and a lot of them had become friends over the months I stayed on and off. I could tell they felt bad about what happened, and I made clear I wasn’t angry with them. I’d planned to tip several of them generously when I left. I’m sorry I won’t see them again. The money issue is why I won’t return. I paid the monthly rate, then had family matters come up and needed to leave about halfway through. Management refused to refund any of the final two weeks, even after I asked them to charge the weekly rate for those weeks and return the balance. I’d spent a lot there over several months and asked them to be fair. The contract did say “no refunds” at the top, though, so keep that in mind if you book weekly or monthly. I chose to keep the room for the remaining time I’d paid for, rather than check out and give them the chance to earn more from it. The staff agreed to make it up in case I stayed a night or two, and I told them politely that I was disappointed. There were plenty of other problems I put up with. In the nicest suite, shower water flooded the whole bathroom because it wouldn’t drain properly. Nothing was fixed, and they gave me a squeegee to push the water back toward the drain. Water also came through the bathroom ceiling when it rained, in room 204, and there was water from the air conditioner drain as well. The elevator was often out, which was hard for me as an older, retired person, and traffic on the road out front made noise day and night. My rented new scooter got scratched up by feral cats that climbed on it and clawed and soiled the seat. I often had to shoo them away before riding. This wasn’t the staff’s fault. They told me administration was running things. I tolerated the bathroom flooding, leaks, cats, elevator trouble, and road noise, but after the way the refund was handled, I won’t stay here again.

There’s a big parking area, the staff are friendly, and the location is handy on the main strip beside the entrance to Baloy Beach. For the price, it’s excellent value and a well-run hotel with everything you need. I’d definitely stay here again.
