Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff deserve 5 stars for being friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel is a little old but very well maintained, and it’s bang for the buck. This is definitely our go-to hotel from now on. Highly recommended!

The fridge was old and leaked onto the floor, the bed’s headboard smelled like armpits, and the TV looked like it was from the early 2000s. The place feels frozen in 2006. I’ve stayed at old hotels I liked because they had charm, but this one had nothing. I wouldn’t stay here again even if the room were free.

During our two-night August holiday stay, we planned to add another night but checked out early and found a different hotel instead. Our experience with the room and amenities put us off even trying the free breakfast included in our booking. We also saw no one using the pool. To make matters worse, they charged us a PHP 200 environmental fee without giving us a receipt. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless it’s an absolute last resort. The trouble began at arrival, when we were given twin beds despite having booked a queen. After a dispute and a wait, they moved us, which wasn’t an ideal start. The room we got was old-looking and dusty, with rust on the shower head. Most electrical outlets were loose or broken, making it hard to charge our devices. Wi-Fi didn’t work; we asked them to reset it three times, with no improvement, and eventually gave up.

The staff are nice, and at least the air conditioning works. But the internet had been down for over 3 hours while I was sitting in the room, and they still hadn’t fixed it. The staff seem to think changing rooms is the best way to deal with problems. They blamed the weather, but anyone working in IT knows internet isn’t affected by weather unless the signal isn’t coming directly from a modem. There were no sheets on the bed when I arrived, and the blanket was disgusting, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The replacement blanket had cigarette burns in it. Gross again. The rooms badly need renovation. The desk looks ready to fall apart, the inside closet walls seem uncleaned for months, and there were no maintainers available to fix anything. Renovating the rooms wouldn’t cost much. I should have written this review earlier, and maybe I forgot. I don’t recommend the place unless you literally just need to sleep for one night and leave. Looking at reviews across the internet, ownership or management hasn’t fixed these issues. It feels like there’s no real desire to address years of disastrous upkeep.
