The rooms were clean and cheap, with a good comfort room and Wi-Fi connection. Staff were accommodating and quick to respond to questions and requests, and booking went smoothly without delays. Breakfast was delicious, but the portions were small. They should add a flat iron and electric kettle to every room, since many guests are travelers. Still, it’s a good place to stay, especially with LU recovering from damage caused by calamities.

The rooms worked well for our big family, but the service left us disappointed. At check-in, the receptionist didn't greet us properly and seemed unfriendly. Food orders were disorganized too. Staff didn't seem to know what we'd ordered, and one person said we hadn't paid even though we had. The pool was dirty, and it still wasn't cleaned after we asked.

The food was good, though the fried rice I ordered the second day didn't taste like the one I had the first day. The room itself is great and newly renovated, but there's still a list of things to fix: water leaks from the toilet flush, the front door should lock more securely, and the old inner cover needs replacing. Room service should clean daily without being asked. There's a table but no chair, and the plugs are too far from both sides of the bed. I hope these things improve before my next stay. We found Maritoni more relaxing than the beaches in San Juan. It's peaceful enough to hear birds singing, even though the villas sit right on Bauang's main road. The food was delicious too. A nice spot for a staycation, and it works well if you need to get some work done. ♥️
