Leuchtturm Resort

We stayed as a family of three from the end of 2024 into the beginning of 2025. The owner gave us helpful tips about routes and places to visit, and the staff were warm and supportive throughout. The place was clean, and I can’t recommend it enough.

We had a great time as a family and would definitely come back. The pool and private beach were lovely, and our suite was spacious and clean during our two-night stay. The staff were kind and really accommodating, and breakfast was great.

The overall feel was run down, and there were plenty of maintenance problems. Our room floor seemed not to have been mopped for a while, my feet turned black walking on it barefoot. The pool was moldy, oddly narrow and shaped, and only half full. Inside, things were very bare, with no phone or coffee station in the room. The beach is all rocks. It had a bit of a Castle Dracula atmosphere, with strange noises at night and huge fox bats flying around and watching from the trees. That was kind of cool, though also a little creepy. There were very few staff. Our server was also the cook and the only person running the restaurant. The internet was slow and unreliable.

My wife and I spent a few days relaxing here, and we’ll definitely return. The owners and staff were so nice and welcoming. We loved swimming in the beautiful pool and at the private beach. Everything we ate was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend. And they have a very sweet, friendly dog named Wanda.
