Dreamwave Resort Laguna

We came back for a second visit and had a great time, especially since we were the only guests there. It’s a small place, so we felt comfortable letting the kids swim without constantly worrying where they were. There’s one kids’ pool and one adult pool. The kids’ pool was empty when we arrived because they’d just cleaned it, but they filled it up right away. Our room was cozy and spotless, and I really loved how kind and accommodating all the staff were. The main drawback is there’s no in house restaurant. If you’re staying overnight, you’ll need to order food or bring something that won’t spoil quickly. You can’t cook there since they don’t provide cookware. Still, I think it’s a good spot to escape the city bustle and swim to your heart’s content, even if it’s only for 22 hours.

A good price and suitable for children who want the option of warm water even at night. The rooms are old, but still within budget.

The check in and check out schedule and the parking were the drawbacks for us. You enter at 2pm and have to leave by 12nn, which can be rough for anyone trying to avoid the heat. Parking isn’t allowed inside because the guest area is compact, and leaving your car outside without steady security felt a little unsettling. It was still a fun stay. The resort was clean, security indoors felt tight, and the price was cheap for an average resort. The accommodation, room, and pricing were better than average, even if the resort itself was simple.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were accommodating, but the room had too many problems. The air conditioner blew straight at the bed, the toilet seat was broken and they didn’t fix it, and there was no sink, chair, or table. I also didn’t want to be served an egg heated in the microwave. Why couldn’t they handle a simple request?
