The room was a good size and the beach is close, but there was a lot of sand on the floor when we arrived. One receptionist was extremely helpful with our questions; the two male staff members came across as if they didn't really want us there. The in-room sheet said laundry was available for an extra charge, but when we asked, they just shook their heads and pointed away from the hotel. Breakfast was very basic, and items were repeatedly unavailable. It's a nice B&B, though I think there may be better value elsewhere on the island.

Breakfast was delicious and included, and the employees were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. The accommodation itself was bright, very clean, and really nice. We loved staying here, especially with the beach just a couple of minutes away.

The sea is very close, and the internet was excellent for working remotely. We stayed for a month and liked everything. The mattress was comfortable, the curtains nearly blocked out all the light, and the kitchen had the utensils and appliances we needed. There was always hot water in the shower.

The restaurant staff had a good attitude, but our room's hot water was unreliable for the first three nights of our four-night stay. We complained to reception twice. On the final night they addressed it by no longer providing hot water in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was also extremely unstable and unreliable.

Areca was quiet, and the rooms felt clean and homey. The location suited us perfectly since we wanted to stay away from the noise, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a really cosy stay and will definitely be back soon. ❤️
