Grospe Resort Boracay

Roxelle at reception made everything easy right from my arrival. She was friendly, always smiling, answered my questions, sorted out small issues, and checked that I was enjoying the stay. By the end, she felt like a friend and made the experience so much better. Balbino from security was respectful and approachable, and helped me feel safe. He was happy to give directions or answer questions about the area. The staff made my trip memorable. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.

I found Grospe Resort Boracay by RedDoorz to be a peaceful retreat in Station 3, away from the crowds but still within easy reach of Boracay’s beaches and entertainment. It’s newly built, with spacious, well-appointed rooms and contemporary amenities that work for relaxing or getting things done. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with family, the atmosphere is welcoming and the service attentive. Popular spots, dining, and the lively feel of Station 2 are still easy to reach, so it’s a convenient quiet corner of Boracay.

The rooms were really clean, the AC worked great, and the family room had four nightstands with wireless charging plus USB and USB-C ports for more devices. The showers were lovely, though not quite as hot as I’d like. Housekeeping replaced used toothbrushes or guest kits, and they even arranged my bunny plushy on the bed in such a cute way. My extended family stayed in the villas, and the biggest one had loads of space, but its stairs were steep, so watch out if you have toddlers. The free breakfast was great too, especially the perfectly cooked, tasty tapsilog. The staff were incredibly helpful and reliable. Our group of 18-plus arrived to fresh orange juice and a very polite welcome. Just be aware of the access: the three-minute walk to the beach goes downhill on cement steps through trees and then a maze of other establishments. It wore me out, even though I’m in my 20s and go to the gym five times a week. With little kids or seniors with mobility or knee issues, this probably isn’t ideal. You can take an e-tricycle from the front instead, for 50-100 pesos depending on the number of riders. Also, the e-tricycle or van from the airport boat can only drop you at the gate, not right at the resort. It’s a 45-second to one-minute walk with your luggage to the lobby, and there are lots of stairs with no accessibility. It’s a quieter choice for introverts in Station 3, though Station 2’s lively area took just 8-10 minutes to reach on foot with my cousins. I’d consider coming back.

We were there for a reunion with my cousins from the US, whom I hadn’t seen in over a decade, and Grospe felt like a home away from home. The owner’s friendliness and effort to make our stay memorable added a personal touch, while the staff made us feel like family. Our rooms and villas were clean and cozy, with very comfortable beds and chilly air conditioning after a day in the Boracay sun. Construction was still going on, but it barely affected the experience. The resort was peaceful, and the construction didn’t get in the way of the great stay. I’m already looking forward to returning when it’s finished. Grospe is a gem in the making, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Boracay.
