I spent a month there and had an absolutely amazing time. The rooms were spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff and owner really made the difference: the cleaning lady was so sweet, and the owner was kind and helpful throughout. I’m already planning to return for a multi-month stay this November. Highly recommended!

The view from my top-floor corner room was beautiful, with jungle and ocean in sight. The breeze moved so well that my beach-soaked clothes dried easily on the racks. Getting up to the resort means climbing a lot of stairs, but if that’s fine for you, the view is worth the effort. It’s also close to the beach. Service was great. The woman who handled my housekeeping needs was kind and accommodating, and ringing the bell made it easy to reach the staff. I’d stay again for the view and beach proximity. I can’t give it five stars because the power went out often, leaving the air conditioner unusable almost every night I was there. I’m okay with heat, and the breeze plus ceiling fan was enough for me. But if you like running the AC at night, I wouldn’t recommend it.

From the hilltop hotel there’s a great view across the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious and very clean. It was great value for the nightly price. Reaching the hotel means climbing over 100 stairs, though, which may not work well for older people or those with certain disabilities.

We loved it so much that we extended our stay. For what we paid, it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed around the world: very clean, a huge bed, amazing views, and great air conditioning. Getting to the rooms involves climbing a lot of steps, but it was worth it to us. The Wi-Fi is very fast, though it drops out for a few seconds now and then. That wasn’t a major issue for us, but you may want to consider it if you have important video calls. I think the same kind of problem might happen in much of the island. There’s also a good coworking space nearby with Starlink and backup LTE.

The ocean view is lovely, and the price felt affordable. The hotel is only a two-minute walk from the beach, but sitting up the hill keeps things really calm at night. Staff were friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. There are a few steps to climb, which might be awkward with a stroller, though it didn't seem like a major concern otherwise.
