Boracay Paradise Hotel

Our confirmed Agoda booking wasn’t honored when we arrived. The hotel said it was fully booked and couldn’t take us. Instead of helping find a solution, the staff rudely told us to contact Agoda ourselves. As partners, the hotel should have taken the lead in sorting this out. The foreign receptionist was dismissive and showed what seemed to me like racially biased behavior. The whole experience was incredibly poor and unprofessional, a huge inconvenience that completely ruined the leisure time we’d expected.

We loved this hotel. The room was spacious, and the staff were kind and accommodating. They even arranged birthday decorations for my daughter. We’ll definitely book again! ❤️

The room was extremely cramped and uncomfortable, and it wasn’t properly prepared when we arrived. No one told us we’d have to put on the bedsheets and pillowcases ourselves. I host too, and this isn’t how guests should be treated when they expect comfort. We paid ₱1300 for an extra person, but got only a thin, small mattress that I’d value at ₱700 at most. They also didn’t clearly explain that the charge was per day. We saw staff every day, but nobody mentioned the daily fee. At checkout they surprised us with the total, which felt misleading. We paid another ₱1600 for the extra person at checkout, so in all we paid ₱8900. That could have gotten us a four-star place with a bigger room. This felt like a scam because of the lack of transparency and poor handling of guests. God bless your business.

The location is good, and the staff are accommodating, but the rooms are the downside. The space feels cramped, with just a bed and small cabinet and no other amenities. The bed was itchy, so I wondered if it might have bed bugs. The bathroom has a separate sink outside, which is a hassle when you have things to bring into the bathroom. There’s no exhaust fan.
