OYO 124 Blue Dawn Boracay

Breakfast was free and had good choices for both western and non-western guests, and the staff were friendly. The room, though, was much smaller than I expected. The air conditioning was quite loud, and nearby roosters seemed to crow around the clock. The mini fridge was noisy too, and it didn’t work. The location was okay, though it’s a fair walk to Station 2. It was a cheap option, so you get what you pay for, and the stay was still reasonably pleasant.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was quite good, served on the deck by the nice chefs. The price and location were fair, so I’d say it was worth it. The air conditioning ran a little too strong, though I’d take that over having too little. Wi-Fi was a bit weak, so it’s better to get a SIM card with internet if you’re staying here.

The hotel had poor hygiene and no hot water. They asked for more than the amount listed on the site. After arriving on the island, I had to spend one night in the hotel’s miserable conditions. It was an ugly experience, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone go through it. I don’t know how it got two stars.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel looked clean and nice. It was good value for the price. The front beach is very close, though Station 2 bars and other places are a bit far.
