The beachfront view and easy beach access are the only real positives for me. The superior deluxe rooms facing the beach are small and dated, and there’s no balcony, so you end up sitting in the traffic corridor. Breakfast is one egg, not two, and a second coffee costs 10 per person. After paying over USD for a room, that feels pretty stingy. It also seems that rooms meant for two sometimes have six to nine people sleeping in them.

We checked out within an hour of arriving and nobody at reception even asked why. The reception staff also made jokes about our requests for help, as if we were putting on a comedy show. The one good thing was that someone carried our luggage. There’s no lift. We’re foreign tourists and still don’t understand why this building is called a resort. We saw people drinking wine in the passageway, which looked like it led to some kind of illicit business, and behaving in ways you’d expect in a private place. There was nothing else positive about the hotel. I’d suggest staying elsewhere so your visit to the beautiful island isn’t spoiled. If zero stars were possible, I’d give that.

We had a nice stay for four nights on a family trip with our parents and siblings, and the price felt fair for what we got. Our room had no windows, so we couldn’t see sunrise or sunset from there, but the setup and facilities were good. Breakfast was a typical plated silog meal with hot dishes and drinks, fine to have with the ocean behind you. The road nearby and residential area made some noise, as expected, though it wasn’t too bad. Locals told me church, a bakery, and other places are a 10-15 minute walk away. Crossing the road gets you to the beachfront, then you can walk along it toward Stations 2 and 3, though older people might find that a bit far.

We got there around 1 pm and they let us check in without charging extra. The resort is close enough to the beach to enjoy it whenever you like, and you can walk to D'Mall and Station 2. A great stay.
