Giulius Boracay Italian Resort

Giulius is really affordable and right in the middle of everything, with everything within walking distance. The bed is so comfy, the room is clean, the towels are thick and white, and the staff are super friendly. We had breakfast included with our room. I’m not keeping this place to myself, I’ll definitely recommend it to seasoned travellers.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and they let us check in early. Our room was huge for two, with the beach only a few minutes away on foot.

We stayed four nights and were put in a back room at this old, dated budget hotel. There’s no elevator, and for what we paid, it didn’t feel worth it. The bathroom had mold around the vanity cabinets and smelled awful. Water leaked from the shower head, bidet hose, and under the sink; the shower flow was weak and the water was cold. We asked staff to move us, but they couldn’t. The breakfast had very little variety and just one piece of toast. My husband asked for one extra slice over three breakfasts, but nobody mentioned it would cost extra. At checkout they charged 150 pesos. We didn’t feel this was good value for a three-star hotel, and would suggest staying somewhere else.

The people here made the stay for me. Jessa at the front desk was especially kind and helpful, and the whole team made the place feel welcoming and personal. I stayed a few nights, and the budget-friendly accommodation is only a short 3-minute walk from the beach. It’s simple and convenient, and even help with a hangover after a fun night out was part of the warm service. I’d definitely come back.
