Hannah Hotel

For the affordable price, this was a nice stay in Station 1, only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, and breakfast was included. The staff were friendly and always smiling, with great customer service. The room was cozy, and the queen-size bed was especially comfortable. My only issue was the bathroom: the floor is almost level with the room and there’s no shower partition, which can be inconvenient. I’d love to return soon.

The deluxe room we moved to had a balcony and was an improvement, though its lighting was very dim at night. The TV worked but had no signal. Breakfast was complimentary and acceptable, just simple with small portions and nothing special. The first night was rough: the budget room assigned to us smelled strongly of mold, with visible mold throughout the room and bathroom, plus a cockroach. I’d booked three nights for a little over ₱5,000 after seeing a content creator I follow praise Hannah and stay in a clean room. The budget room photos on Agoda and the Hannah Hotel website looked well put together and showed a window, but the window was blocked by a bamboo wall, so opening it didn’t bring in fresh air. I asked the front desk to move us, explained the issues, and said I’d pay extra for a better room. Staff quietly discussed the complaint with a coworker, and two others came out and went back in, possibly checking who was complaining. Then the woman at the desk said no other room was available that day, but a deluxe room could be offered for the next two days for an extra ₱1,250 per night. I’d considered leaving for another hotel, but accepted and paid the extra. If room conditions aren’t a big concern for you, Hannah may be an option. Personally, I’ve stayed in other Boracay hotels in the same price range that were much more decent.

We booked through Klook, but the room we got looked nothing like the photo. Don’t be taken in by the TikTok review videos about this hotel. The staff were nice and accommodating, but the room was hideous. We even found a worm in the bed, lol, the worst part of the stay. Breakfast only had three choices, and if you wanted something like Bangus Silog, you had to pay full price even though the free breakfast was included. It was just defaulted, lol. Terrible experience, especially the worm.

The room was clean, freshly painted, and had a comfortable bed, clean T/B, and cool aircon. The hot shower worked, but the towels had turned a dirty white and badly needed replacing. Unlike the other wings, this one didn’t have a water dispenser. Roosters on the other side of the fence right beside my room made it hard to sleep. I borrowed a hair dryer, but it didn’t heat at all and had dirty masking tape on it, like it had been broken. The owner should get a new one. I shared my feedback with the front desk before checking out. This is based on my personal experience.
