There was construction noise from next door during the day, but it was very quiet between 6pm and 9am. The staff were delightful and helpful, and the restaurant and bar serve local dishes with some interesting twists. It’s a charming hotel, with well-appointed rooms, en-suite bathrooms, safes, and comfortable beds.

The location is a real plus: it’s tucked into a quiet part of the island, close enough to the main attractions, and I enjoyed hanging out at the bar. The service was top-notch too. Those are the reasons I’d give the stay a 7 or maybe 8 out of 10, despite the room itself feeling like a 3 or 4 out of 10. The shower pressure was very weak, the TV was useless, and the air conditioning couldn’t handle the heat. Most things in the room barely worked, and it needs renovating. There was also a lot of construction noise from 9 to 17, five days a week. The price was really attractive, but if the owner invested in updating the rooms, even if the price went up, this could be one of the best hotels in Boracay.

The food was all good, and on my third trip to Boracay this is nearly one of my favorite restaurants here. It was also a great place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. There weren’t as many people as at D mall, which I liked. Just to be clear, I’m reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel.

The island’s eastern side felt much calmer than White Beach, and I loved the magnificent sunrises. The hotel is small and cozy, right beside a beach surfers like. There are a few sunbeds on the sand, and White Beach is only a 10-minute walk away. Friendly cats and dogs live at the hotel too. A lovely spot to relax.
