The location is a bit out of the way: the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from D’Mall and White Beach, though Ilig - Iligan Beach is a three-minute walk and Puka Beach takes about 20 minutes on foot. Both beaches are lovely and quieter than White Beach. A shuttle runs to D’Mall three times daily at 10am, 5pm, and 10pm, with returns at 10:20am, 5:20pm, and 10:20pm. Activities often start before the first shuttle, so getting to D’Mall then means paying about 400 pesos for an e-trike. The hotel has a restaurant with good food, while the nearest local restaurants are a 15-minute walk away. I wouldn’t want to walk there at night since it’s pitch black. Staff are friendly, breakfast is nice, and the daily massage is free. For the price, I think it’s good value, though it isn’t a luxury resort. The rooms are dated and the walls could use a cleaning. Towels and sheets are clean but worn, with some old stains. The shower has hot water, but you need to let it run for at least 5-10 minutes. Since it’s close to nature, you might see little lizards or spiders.

The hotel has a lovely garden, a homey feel like your grandma’s summer house, and lovely staff who serve a good variety of food. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, though they look like they’re from the early 90s.

The beach is right outside, with plenty of places to eat nearby, and breakfast was delicious. We also had a stable connection and enough quiet to get work done, so it’s WFH-friendly. There’s a scheduled service you wouldn’t want to miss, which made the stay more relaxing. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to return. The staff were friendly and super accommodating, and we were pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade from a couple room to a bigger one, which made things more comfortable.

Breakfast and free massages were a nice bonus, and the staff were happy to help. Our room was clean and spacious, though the bathroom felt a little outdated, which wasn’t a big issue. There’s a free shuttle into town, but the times aren’t ideal, so you may need to work around them or pay for a local tricycle. A lovely, peaceful beach is about a five-minute walk away. We were very happy with our stay.

Tasty breakfast, a spacious room, and really nice, helpful staff. The beach is quiet, peaceful, and uncrowded, about a five-minute walk away. There’s a free shuttle to DMall three times a day. This was just what I wanted, and I’d definitely stay again.
