Roy's Rendezvous Boracay

The cottage room was roomy and good value, and a small fresh breakfast was included. To reach it from the beach, take the narrow passage beside Marzon beach resort, then walk a few minutes behind the resort. There's a nice little beach restaurant a few minutes away. Renovations and the resort made it noisy during the day and at night. Still, the island seems like that wherever you go, with places packed close together. There's no breeze on this side of the island compared with the other side where people kitesurf.

I booked through Booking and entered the wrong date. The staff noticed, but the manager never contacted me and just kept my money. I lost both the payment and the room. The manager wouldn't answer by phone or email. The place is run down and seems to be losing money, and I think I can see why. Be careful, it seemed to me they were willing to keep my money instead of offering service or help. Sorry to say it. I also feel bad for the nice staff.

Roy’s Rendezvous is peaceful, clean, and a great deal. I always stay here when I'm in Boracay, and it's just right for someone like me who loves a staycation. The rooms are very affordable, whether you're here with friends, family, a partner, or on your own. The free breakfast is delicious, too, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The pictures on the travel app convinced me to book, and most of the venue was fantastic: lovely gardens, a great breakfast, an easy walk to the beach and bars, and friendly staff. My room, though, was stinking hot because the air-conditioning was poor.
