We’re staying at the Mövenpick Hotel and Spa, and recently visited its beachfront bar. The venue had a stunning view and a relaxing atmosphere. Cyril served us, and his attentive, friendly service made the experience memorable. He went above and beyond to get every detail right. John’s drinks were delicious and strong, too. We’ll definitely be back, and I especially commend Cyril for his outstanding service.

The beach is only a few steps from Sol Marina, and you can catch a great Boracay sunset from there. The staff were thoughtful and attentive. Drinks cost a bit more, like prices on this side of the island generally do, but the atmosphere is one of the best parts of the resort.

We found Sol Marina tucked away inside Movenpick Resort, private and intimate, with direct access to the beach and pool. The sunset view is lovely, and the romantic setting works for couples, families, or even a solo visit. The food and drinks were tasty and affordable. It's one of my favorite places at Movenpick, and I'll come back with my family. A great spot to relax in Boracay.

The service was shocking. We waited 35 minutes for a beer and got it only after reminding the staff. A cold ceviche starter took 45 minutes. The tables beside the day beds were so wobbly that drinks wouldn’t stay put, and when one tipped over, they wouldn’t replace it. Management handled things even worse: after all those mistakes, they offered just 200 pesos off a bill of almost 6,000. A joke. Stay away and pick any other place on Boracay. Also, when “Happy Hour” begins, they raise the regular drink prices so the 2-for-1 offer looks appealing, without actually giving you 2-for-1.
