Vilus Place

I stayed here during the start of quarantine, and the place had everything I needed. It was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, and my room was cleaned every morning. Luvi was an incredible host. I can’t thank the hosts enough for those last two weeks in Boracay. They were always positive and welcoming, and I loved every day in their beautiful apartments. They really know how to run a business!

We had the chicken curry at Vilus restaurant, and honestly it was the best meal we’d had in two months of traveling in Philippines. The food is made fresh in an open kitchen, so you can watch the chef working, very professionally. Staff were friendly and attentive, and we’ll definitely go back. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat at Diniwid Beach Boracay, give it a try. The food is excellent and reasonably priced compared with the more touristy bar on the front.

This was my second stay here in three years, and I can’t wait to return. The garden is peaceful and beautiful, the air-conditioned rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from my favorite beach in Boracay, Diniwid. A special shoutout to the lovely older cleaning lady. She was 70, worked harder than anyone I know, and was always so full of life. She was guaranteed to make me smile. Thanks to all the staff and owners for your hospitality x

Vilus is just a three-minute walk from the beautiful beach, and it’s a 20-minute drive to the jetty. City Mall is a 10-minute walk away, with some good places to eat around there. We booked the king room, which was on the ground floor. It was large, lovely, and very clean, with a comfortable king-size double bed. The toilet was amazingly clean, and the sheets and towels were clean too. We were given two toilet rolls on request and had two bottles of water, but there were no toiletries or replenishments. Breakfast was included, either two eggs, two rashers of bacon and two slices of toast, or rice, two sweet sausages and two eggs. Both came with white or black tea, or coffee.
