The room was small but cute and nicely styled, with just enough room to move around. It smelled fresh and was clean, as was the bathroom, though there wasn’t a sink in the room for washing my face or brushing my teeth. The air conditioner made some noise, but I still slept fine. I could hear people in neighboring rooms, although it was quiet at night. It’s a long way from White Beach, but that’s okay if you like walking.

I stayed three nights and paid 1k per night, but when my boat and flights were cancelled by the typhoon, he tried to charge me double. It felt like he saw that I was in a difficult spot and with a female. The manager was the exception, the other staff were nice and kind, and the room was okay for the price. The WiFi didn’t work. PCOL Jess b Mendiz knows about this, and it has been reported to the tourism police.

For a budget traveler, this place is worth considering. The rooms are okay for the price and very close to the beach. There were no toiletries, tissue, or bottled water, and there was no hot water either, but the air conditioning worked and the WiFi was okay.

The location was a plus, only a 3-5 minute walk from the beachfront. But our family room at Wald's Place Boracay felt overpriced for what it lacked. There weren’t enough blankets or hooks, and there were no clothes hangers, tissue, chairs, toilet racks, or pads. The bidet didn’t work, and the family-friendly amenities were inadequate for a room booked for a family. Our first night’s sleep was interrupted by loud talking from neighboring staff, which was frustrating while we were on vacation hoping to rest. The room also needed a cleaner environment. I might return if these issues are fixed, or maybe not because of the resident ghosts or elementals. Our stay didn’t meet expectations, and the missing basics made it poor value for money.

We stayed as a family from May 25 to May 27. The room was clean and the price was very affordable, so you get what you pay for. It’s also really close to the HOHO Station and drop-off.
