Eurotel Boracay

We left for another hotel because our room made us uncomfortable, especially while traveling with a young child. There was visible mold and moisture staining on the ceiling, the floor felt sticky, and the headboard was dusty. Cleanliness and air quality matter a lot to us, so we didn’t want to stay any longer. The staff were approachable, but room upkeep and cleanliness need major improvement. I hope management addresses this for future guests.

For a budget stay in Station 2, this is probably the most affordable option I’ve found that’s still walking distance to the beach. It was especially convenient traveling with a senior citizen. The rooms and bathroom are small, but that didn’t bother me. It’s dated, though it works fine as a place to sleep, since my mom and I spent the rest of our time out and about. I appreciated the elevator being operational, plus the breakfast buffet was okay with a decent variety, much like other Eurotel locations. Staff were attentive and accommodating. There’s a wash area outside and a mini convenience store next door. The room had enough closet space, two tables, plenty of mirrors, an electric plug, and light switches suited to different times of day. I absolutely loved the shower setup, with nozzles spraying water horizontally across your body. I highly recommend it if convenience and a tight budget are priorities.

We were very disappointed by the service at Eurotel, in a room on the 4th floor. When we arrived, the elevator was under maintenance, so we had to leave our three luggage bags in the lobby. One weighed about 20kg and the other two were 7kg each. Staff repeatedly assured us the bags would be brought up shortly. We waited from around 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, calling and following up several times. Each time, they said the luggage would be taken upstairs, but nothing happened. With our room on the 4th floor and the bags so heavy, the wait was especially difficult. Eventually my boyfriend carried everything up himself. None of the staff, including those in the lobby, offered to help, even though they saw how heavy the bags were. The lack of urgency, poor customer service, and empty promises were extremely disappointing. Saying the request would be “followed up” again and again without taking action is unacceptable. We understand that elevator maintenance happens, but guests should still receive proper help, especially with heavy luggage. What kind of service leaves guests waiting for hours and then carrying everything themselves? I hope management addresses this so other guests don’t face the same inconvenience.

The rooms and facilities are old, some cabinets are moldy, and the staff aren’t friendly like they used to be. Back in 2018, the service and staff were good, but it’s not the same now. We got stuck in the elevator once, and the air conditioning in one room didn’t work. We asked to move, then waited an hour while they figured out what to do. It was stressful instead of relaxing. This place isn’t worth it anymore, so choose somewhere else. I’m not coming back.
