The restaurant was so good, and the rooftop cocktail bar is stunning. Miss Giselle, spelling? made delicious drinks, and the pool felt like a dream. The place itself is like a sculpture set on a sea cliff, with jungle and ocean views all around. Everyone, from the owners to the staff, was so kind. It was easy to ride a moto between the busier Pacifico area, which I wish had more, and the north surf spots and best beaches. By far the best location we stayed in on the island. We couldn’t have imagined a better place. Thank you all for everything. You’ll stay in our hearts, Sara & Will 🌺

A quiet place to switch off and be surrounded by nature, with rare wildlife in the lush jungle below. The terrace looks out over both the ocean and the greenery, and the resort sits high on a cliff in the jungle. Its design, raw concrete mixed with natural wood, fits beautifully into the wild setting. It’s one of the most breathtaking places I’ve stayed. The owners were a warm, wonderful couple who made us feel at home and even offered to help move our gear back to General Luna.

The food was excellent, and you really have to try the paella. It’s one of our favorite spots on the island, with a breathtaking view, beautiful rooms, a great new pool, and a rooftop bar that’s perfect for relaxing. Thanks so much. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the north!

There’s so much potential here. A magnificent fortress on a remote cliff suggests real passion and vision, and I might have loved the place if I’d visited a few years ago. Now it feels neglected, as if that passion has faded. Maintenance is lacking, and half the staff came across as aloof and unwelcoming. The hospitality felt cold and the place itself uninviting. A disappointing stay, especially given what it could be.
