The rooms are basic, but they’re comfortable and spacious, and the staff are friendly. There’s a nice sitting area and a convenience store in the lobby. The location works well between the airport and pier, with 7 Eleven a five-minute walk away and several malls nearby. WiFi was good too. Great value.

I felt safe here as a woman traveling alone, and there were families with kids staying too. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and when Grab couldn’t find me a taxi, the security guard got one for me in minutes. They returned my 1000php damage deposit without any trouble the next morning. The room had working A/C, WiFi and TV, and the bed was comfortable enough. There’s a small pool and convenience store attached, with a Motel 6 kind of feel. I booked thinking it was close to the North Bus Terminal based on Google maps, but the bus station is actually about a 25-minute walk away, a bit far with bags in the heat. I can’t comment on sightseeing nearby, though at $20usd a night it’s hard to beat. They do rent rooms by the hour and have notices about massage oil staining the sheets, so make of that what you will.

We stayed here twice because the service and comfort were good for the price. The concierge was courteous and handled our requests well, and a bellboy helped with our luggage and showed us to the room. There’s a swimming pool and a hotel convenience store. Through Reddoorz, guests get good WiFi, cable TV, toiletries, bottled water and a 24-hour front desk. Our twin room was roomy, tidy and had enough light. It also had an outdoor washing area, useful if you’re staying around Metro Cebu for a while. The toilets were clean, though the shower drain smelled unpleasant in the room we had on our second visit. The A/C worked very well, the beds were okay, and a dining table was available. They still use ordinary keys and locks rather than electronic cards. All in all, a comfortable stay at a reasonable rate.

The only decent thing was the parking area. The service was bad, the rooms were old, and the CR was very small. There was no telephone or TV, and no swimming pool. They told us to call if we needed anything, but there was no phone in the room to call from.
