West Atlantic Hotel Coron

The rooms were clean, roomy, and really nice, and the staff helped us a lot with transfers and our late check-in. We were picked up here in the mornings by pirate divers busuanga. I loved our stay enough that we added another day.

The location made getting around easy, with an ATM and convenience store in the same building, and the inn sits between Busuanga and Coron. The beach, dive centers, and other hotels in Concepcion were accessible from there too. I’ll choose West Atlantic Inn again when I’m in Busuanga. Patrick handled both chef and receptionist duties and was attentive throughout, while Rey and Mevs, the owners, were welcoming and made sure my needs were met. The restaurant was a nice surprise, with a broad menu and tasty choices. For the price, the rooms worked well for either a short visit or a longer stay. Mine was clean and had fresh bedding and towels, a TV, and fast internet. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The male owner often looks grumpy and shouts at his staff, which wasn’t great to see. Still, the staff are very friendly, the food is great, and the rooms have good AC. I had a great experience overall and highly recommend the place.

We only ate breakfast and lunch here, and the food was decent. When our scooter broke down, they let us use the WiFi while we waited three hours for the rental company to replace the tire. We had some nice chats with the lovely staff, who were happy to help. It’s a quiet spot near Salvacion, which has more tourist facilities, and there’s a small grocery store downstairs.
