My Stay Hotel - Near SM Mall - 1 min walk

The best part is how close it is to SM City Mall. Breakfast was okay, though parking is pretty limited. The pillows were in short supply, there was no hot shower, and the air-conditioning filters looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for new guests.

The main reason I’d stay again is the location: SM mall is right across the street, so it’s easy to go there at night for a movie and come back to crash right away. There’s some parking in front, and in-room massage costs 600 pesos. It’s a good place to stay.

We were woken by loud bangs before 7 am. When we travel out of town, we usually like sleeping late and enjoying the accommodation, but that wasn’t possible here. Maybe they’re renovating or building something. If so, they should put guests a few rooms away from the construction noise. It’s really inconvenient for people who are still asleep.

Breakfast was a joke, and the room itself was far smaller than advertised. The listing said 15 square meters, but it felt microscopic, definitely no more than 9 square meters including the bathroom. The aircon was very noisy, and the shower barely put out any water. I’d booked a few rooms for a few nights, but this wasn’t what I expected for the money. I asked to move to a room that matched the description and was refused, as was my refund. We stayed one night, then went elsewhere.
