We were able to check in a few hours early, and the team kindly took care of every request. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, and even spent some time with us. The villa details really stood out: a very comfortable bed, clean and roomy bathroom, quality towels, and cozy bean bags. Having a kitchen by the beach made it easy to cook and store food. Amandagat is spacious, peaceful, and right on the beach in a quiet part of Zambales. I've already returned once and will come back whenever I'm in the Philippines.

We had a wonderful time bonding as a family in our villa, and our dogs enjoyed it too. The rooms were roomy, with thoughtful touches from the toilets to the bedding. The homemade food was delicious, left us full, and made us feel good after eating. It's truly a hidden gem in Zambales. Thanks to the team for being so hospitable.

AmanDagat Beach Resort made for a memorable stay, and we'd definitely return when we can. The owner was humble, genuine, and welcoming, greeting guests at check-in, offering a travel prayer, and seeing them off at checkout. At dinner, he surprised my mother-in-law with a cupcake and sang happy birthday to her, a small gesture that meant a lot. Our only snag was finding reception. There wasn't a clear sign, so we weren't sure where to check in until a friendly staff member pointed us the right way. The villa had what we needed, including a small pool for swimming and stargazing, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, an upstairs and downstairs bedroom, soft mattresses, and a large bathroom with a high-tech toilet seat. The resort is ideal if you want a break from city noise and time in nature. It was a short walk to the public beach across a makeshift bridge, and kayaks were available for free for trips on the nearby river. In the evening, we could buy local food and watch local bands perform by the highway beside the public beach, or stay in to swim and look at the stars. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and friendly. The setting was spectacular. Five out of five from us.

We had a short holiday at AmanDagat and loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and scenic views. We watched both sunrise and sunset, and enjoyed the pool, river, and ocean. Kayaking and fishing were free activities. It's in Zambales, about a four-hour trip via Victory Liner, and seems like a lovely place to unwind. Check their website for more information.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with cozy bean bags, plush-feeling pillows, thoughtful toiletries, a heated toilet, a roomy bathroom, and thick towels. Staff were consistently helpful, and free cookware plus the nearby market made things practical. I also loved the food and the cozy restaurant, especially at night. The place is genuinely pet-friendly, with lots of friendly dogs. Amandagat was a peaceful reset for us. Set between mountains and water, it has beautiful views and a calming feel. We could easily reach calm water for kayaking when the waves at the main beach were too strong. We had a lovely stay, felt well looked after, and can see a lot of potential here.
