Parking was a hassle since the only option is limited roadside space. The hotel itself is old but kept up, though the rooms feel like they're barely holding together. At its usual rate, I could find newer, much better rooms nearby.

The location worked well for me. It sits near the center of the city, down at the end of an alley, so it feels private, and the area outside seemed safe even at night. Convenience stores and a spa are close by. The hotel is well known, and the price is reasonable for what you get. Booking online didn't cost much less than paying there. My room was clean, and I got mobile signal, but the window looked onto a walled utility area beside the building. I didn't see an elevator, and the reception desk is on the second floor, up the stairs at the front. There was Wi-Fi, though it didn't seem to work while I was there. The room had no bidet, heated shower, bathroom mirror, or TV. It looks old, but for a cheap stay it felt like decent value. There's no cafeteria that I saw, which didn't bother me. I'd recommend it for families.

Right in the middle of the city, but I slept like a baby at Cagayan ParkView Hotel. People stay here in Cagayan, and I really like this place. I love it.

This was my first night in Cagayan, and I found a room here through Agoda for 356 pesos. Kathryn Bakeshop is across the street, right by a 7-Eleven. You should check it out.
