The room was clean and nice, and the staff and receptionist were courteous and accommodating. I appreciated that the receptionist carefully asked about guests, including whether my companion was my son. A couple of small things could be improved: a bath mat or rag in the bathroom, and towels that smell fresher, perhaps with fabric conditioner.

The sheets had what looked like a blood stain and didn't seem properly washed or replaced. I was also uncomfortable with the privacy situation: maintenance staff have a master key and apparently don't check whether someone is in the room before entering. There's no manual lock on the door, so you could be surprised by someone walking in. Not a good stay.

The place looked great, but cleanliness was poor. After about an hour waiting to check in, we found a rat in the room, and the bed sheets had lots of stains. We showed the front desk photos of the blood stains, which looked like menstruation stains, and told them about the rat. They offered to move us, but we declined because we didn't want to risk finding another one.

The room was okay, but it needs more regular cleaning. The bathroom was the main problem: the shower curtain felt a little slimy, and small cockroaches were coming out of the sink. I hope they fumigate so this doesn't keep happening.
