If you’re taking the fast craft from Batangas to Calapan and stopping overnight before exploring Mindoro, this is a good place to stay because it’s close to the port. The sheets were clean, the room was cool, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and nice, with a safe and fridge, and there’s parking out front. Staff were friendly, and Calapan pier is very close. There’s no pool or gym, and not much to do nearby since it’s by the Calapan terminal. When we visited, breakfast had just one choice: burger steak.

The restaurant serves a good free breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, but felt cold and sterile, with bare walls and nowhere to work, set things down, or hang clothes. There wasn’t a desk or table.

The bed was comfortable, though the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak. I got stuck in Calapan during the Urduja cyclone, when many places were full because so many people were affected by the storm. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the place was clean. They made my stay enjoyable, and I’d stay here again because the hosts were so nice. For context, the day before I’d been sleeping on a piece of wood.
