RedDoorz Plus @ Ruby Las Pinas Weekly Stay

The location is handy for transport, restaurants, convenience stores, and more. It was my first stay here, and I was impressed by how new, clean, and affordable the hotel was. I thought it was worth it. I didn't give five stars because the woman who checked us in wasn't accommodating. Also, if you're not used to the metro's buzzing sound, getting a decent night's sleep could be hard. Soundproof windows would make it perfect.

I was shocked by how many COVID documents they required. They only sent the list after I booked, and I couldn't get everything together in under 24 hours, so I cancelled. The cancellation went through, but they gave no warning that they would charge the full fee. It felt like they were tricking customers by not being fully transparent about the required documents. That's especially upsetting when money is tight during the pandemic. There was no consideration at all.

It wasn't clean, the staff seemed indifferent, and there was no front seat. The place mixes businesses, moto Ike's, food, and a motel. The room was like a hotbox; the air conditioning seemed to work only at night, when it then got cold.

The Wi-Fi was good, most of the kitchen appliances worked, and the room was generally clean. The toaster and dehumidifier didn't work, though. The window blinds were broken and left the room exposed to neighbors, the aircon vents were dirty, and the water pressure was terrible.
