Marelocca Beach House

A nice place to spend time with coworkers or family, with reasonable prices and pleasant rooms. The rooms could still use some improvement, but we had a great experience. There’s plenty of parking, though you need to coordinate with the other owners because the layout works on a first-in, last-out basis.

We visited on April 23, 2023, and had so much fun that we added another night. It’s peaceful and private, with a strong feeling of being close to nature. The kids enjoyed the water activities, including the banana boat and snorkeling, and you can rent videoke for a small fee. Pets are welcome too. Ate Nelda, Baks, and the owner, Ms Maria, were lovely and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We’ll definitely come back next year. 😊

The two rooms worked perfectly for our barkada group, and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the kubo outside. The room was clean and nice, and the owner and helpers were friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. It’s a good spot to get away from city stress. We stayed during monsoon season, so the waves were strong and swimming wasn’t possible, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The road is a little rough, though small cars can get through.

We went in August 2022 with our two dogs, and they enjoyed the stay too. Finding an animal-friendly resort was one of our main requirements. The place was clean and well maintained, with a separate, roomy kitchen and a cottage out front where we could relax. There’s kayaking, karaoke, and even a swing to sit on. You can swim all day, including at high tide, and the water was clear and clean. The host and caretakers were friendly and helpful throughout. The road gets rough in spots, but even a sedan can manage it. Great for a private family outing.
