The diving course was a highlight for me. I completed my certification here, and it felt safe, professional, and unforgettable. Balai sa Baibai is a lovely place to learn. Roman and Alessandra clearly put a lot of care into the resort. The whole team was warm and attentive, and we felt looked after from the minute we arrived. The food was delicious, and the setting made it easy to relax. We spent several days here and loved it. Camiguin is beautiful, and Balai sa Baibai made our stay feel like a little bit of paradise. We'd happily return anytime.

We had such a good time here. The place is private enough that you could even go naked 😝, and we had our own little plunge pool. I know the outdoor washroom might not suit everyone, but I thought it added to the charm. The owners were lovely, and the staff were just as pleasant. Great food, friendly people, and a really relaxing stay. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we have to fly out tomorrow. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

We got a free breakfast, and the staff were so welcoming and genuinely enthusiastic. Everything was clean, and honestly, the whole stay felt close to perfect. We'd just left what was supposed to be a 5-star hotel on the island, about 9k a night, and it turned out to be our worst experience. We booked this cheaper place almost as an experiment, thinking it was a “2-star” hotel. It ended up exceeding all our expectations. It really had 5-star energy.

The weak shower pressure, all the mosquitoes, and food that was pricier than expected and not as tasty took away from an otherwise lovely stay. The resort itself was calm and relaxing, and the room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were always smiling, helpful, and keen to make us feel welcome. I especially appreciated the thoughtful birthday greeting they prepared for my mother. Even with those downsides, we had a pleasant and memorable getaway.

The animals around the property were a lovely bonus. Reef and Nami hang out at the dive shop, and Nala is the cutest dog ever. I already want to return to see them, and to enjoy the villas and service again. Roman and Alessandra were friendly and always made sure we were looked after. We enjoyed chatting with them over dinner. We chose Balai sa Baibai for a weekend away and were sorry to leave. The resort is well maintained, with beautifully decorated rooms and such thoughtful details in the art and furniture. The outdoor bathroom and shower, private pool, and beach bar were all a dream. It was a great place to unwind and get to their sandy beach. We also booked a day trip on their boat through the in-house dive shop. Roman is an experienced, professional dive master who puts safety first. I'd absolutely recommend Balai sa Baibai if you want to treat yourself in Camiguin.
