ZEN Rooms Aloha Nui Hotel

The stay was pleasant, and I'd consider booking again. Still, at this price I expected more regular service, like staff checking rooms without being asked and topping up the bottled water. Room 323 was dim, and there were no trash bins in the CR. Those felt minor to me, though they could bother someone who is more particular. I hope the hotel makes better use of its potential and improves its service.

The event center and pool area are great, but I didn't feel very comfortable in the rooms. Food took a really long time, and I couldn't see the supposed old Hawaiian feel. I wouldn't recommend it.

I ended up sleeping in the car because at least I knew it was clean. The room we switched to still had mould on the pillows and sheets, just like the first one, and that first room didn't even have a toilet seat. The place was filthy, with mould growing inside the pillowcases too. Cleaning and service were terrible. There's no elevator, so senior citizens have to carry their own bags up the stairs. With so many people staying here, you'd expect much better cleaning. Save yourself the trip and stay somewhere else.

The AC was really good and kept the place cool. The room was okay, and we're grateful they accommodated us for the 16th National Laity Congress, with UMC delegates from all over Philippines. Proud to be Methodist! The stairs are a problem for seniors since there's no elevator. The catering wasn't from the hotel, but I think it needs an upgrade. Some dishes were okay, and hopefully the food tastes better next time. The coffee didn't really taste like coffee, hehe.
