The facilities, food, and views were all great, and the place is absolutely stunning. It’s pet friendly, though each pet costs 900 pesos. I brought five dogs 😝 and my fur babies had a great time exploring the whole place. Highly recommended!

We had such a restful time at Sofia’s Lake, surrounded by lovely nature and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff were warm, friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, making us feel at home the whole stay. Special thanks to Denver, Marlon, and Chef Aldren for the delicious food. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

We only planned a Friday afternoon day tour with a friend, but the moment we saw Sophia’s Lake, we decided to stay the night. For ₱4,000 for two, we got a cozy glamping stay, a bonfire with s’mores, peaceful lakeside views, and a huge breakfast prepared by a chef. We joked that it must have been the villa guests’ food because there was so much. It was an incredible deal. The place is stunning, like a postcard, and it’s hard to believe it’s only about 3 hours from Metro Manila. With the lake, greenery, and calm atmosphere, it felt like being transported to a hidden paradise. No flight needed for a beautiful getaway in the Philippines. Getting there was easy. We parked at the gate and took a 5-10 minute speedboat ride to the secluded resort. The lake is swimmable, and we had fun kayaking, paddleboarding, and taking a man-made raft to a little island with a swing. There’s also a hanging bridge, a kawa bath, and other special touches. Plenty here for couples, families, or friends. Kat, the manager, was warm, thoughtful, and attentive even before we arrived. The whole staff were kind and smiling, and went above and beyond. The people cooking our meals also helped with housekeeping and took us through the activities. You could tell they really enjoyed their work. Our glamping bed was super comfortable, even without AC, and the cool breeze from the lake kept things fresh and cozy all night. It was wonderfully quiet, with just one other group in a nearby villa. The views, food, activities, and people all exceeded what we expected. I’ll definitely come back! 🌿✨💯

We’ve stayed twice now, two nights in a villa each time, and this has become our favorite place. It’s worth every penny. The quiet and privacy are precious, and the staff are attentive and so polite. Jordan, Arwin, Erica, and Cristina never disappoint. Having breakfast cooked for us on the veranda while looking out at the lake is priceless. The restaurant food is excellent, especially the Ginataang Manok, Tinolang Manok, and Beef Pepper Steak. Each villa has amenities on par with, or better than, a five-star hotel. They’re wonderful with our fur baby, who liked it so much she didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend, including for stays longer than one night. They’ve definitely won us over!

My family had a fun stay at this beautiful place, though there’s room for improvement. We booked two villas for 8 people. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the lake that was lovely for sunrise or sunset. I’d prefer bathroom doors to curtains, since our group included both men and women. The banana boat and kayaking were fantastic, and the staff helping us were friendly and nice. The sunset boat ride was another highlight for the whole family. We got lovely scenery, birds flying around as we cruised, and complimentary snacks. The activity schedule was less enjoyable. We arrived around 3pm and had to book activities before checking in. Other guests were already there, so we were told which time slots were still available. Dinner was assigned for 7:30pm and breakfast for 9:30am, but both meals came late and it put a damper on things. We’d looked forward to having the chef prepare breakfast at the villa as a special treat for the family, but the chef only made sunny-side-up eggs. The rest was already prepared: hotdog, tapa, longganisa, pancake, and fried fish. The ube champorado was the only unusual item, and it was really good. Dinner was just okay, and some menu items weren’t available. I’d rate the stay 7/10. The views are great and we had fun, but some things could be better.
