Casa Nayah

We booked through AirBnB, and my stay at Casa Nayah under Azela was completely unacceptable and far below what I expect from an Airbnb listing. From the beginning there were problems, and the hosts’ slow responses made everything harder. The WiFi didn’t work. I messaged the hosts repeatedly, but they were incredibly slow to reply and made no effort to fix it. The bathroom door locks were broken, the water heater worked only sometimes, and water pressure stayed so low for days that even basic hygiene was a struggle. The house was in terrible condition. Kitchen appliances were filthy, and the cookware smelled bad enough that we couldn’t use it. Pieces of wood were coming loose from the wardrobes, and there was no proper waste disposal system, so we didn’t know where to put our trash. The first-floor toilet was horrifying too: it wouldn’t flush, and water wouldn’t drain, leaving it stagnant on the toilet floor and obscenely unhygienic. These are basic things a home should have maintained and communicated properly. The hosts never came to the property or took action on our feedback, leaving us to deal with everything ourselves. It felt like they had little regard for guests’ experience or the quality of the listing. The host then reviewed us saying we left the house messy, even though we’d already paid the cleaning fee. I strongly recommend avoiding Casa Nayah. It’s horribly maintained, the hosts are unresponsive, and the stay wasn’t worth the money or stress.
