NS Royal Hotel

The NS Royal Hotel team were kind and quick to respond throughout my Cebu trip. They even went out of their way to find an important item I'd accidentally left behind and make sure it got safely back to me in Manila. I really appreciate the fast communication and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Right in the heart of Cebu City, NS Royal Hotel is conveniently located. Our room was spacious, clean and very affordable, and the staff were professional and friendly. We rested well and had a comfortable stay. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable place in Cebu City. Jess Salvador

During a fiesta our usual hotel was full, so we booked the Royal. It was overpriced, out of the way, and hard to get a taxi from the narrow, busy street. Staff were accommodating, but not as friendly as expected. The room wasn't cleaned well and the CR smelled. The bed was comfortable, but the TV turned on with a no signal message. The smoke detector was wrapped in plastic, and I took pictures. Breakfast was included and hot, but only so-so in taste, with very little seasoning. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Update: Owner, I appreciate that you think all guests were informed about certain conditions, but that's mistaken. As I said, your staff weren't very friendly, and they chose to speak to my wife instead of me, the person who booked and paid. If English is difficult for your staff, please make adjustments. I chose to report the problems we noticed, but my wife didn't want to cause trouble. We won't return, and I'm now giving the hotel one star.

We had a four-night booking made online, at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was a hearty buffet. Everyone on staff was courteous and accommodating. Cebu's business hub location also puts malls, restaurants, souvenir shops and other interesting places and tourist spots nearby.
